In order to support organisations working with visually impaired people, the IBF Foundation is releasing a grant initiative under the name “Visually Impaired Support Grant Programme”. The new programme aims to provide organisations working in visual impairment with financial resources to resolve difficulties. The focus area is projects providing support for the visually impaired, excluding the field of sports.
IBF Foundation tackles the three “Disabilities” – Impairment, Disability, and Handicap – using the power of Blind Football. Since its inception, our programmes have been directly involved in sport, such as the Let’s Play programmes, which provide balls and competition equipment, but have also supported visually impaired people in non-sporting ways, such as the Information Technology Grant programme. Both take us a step closer to the realisation of our mission. This new programme is not limited to IT, but targets a wide range of issues and solutions for visually impaired people.
The total maximum budget allocated for each grantee is 2,000 US Dollars, and the following organisations are eligible to apply for funding under this VI Support Grant Programme:
• Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs)
• Non-Profit Organisations
• Schools
All applicants must work in the area of visual impairment.
The grant program is open for applications until December 9th, 2022 at 12:00 (JST/GMT+9). If you are interested in applying, please check out the information page below.
